The production company SILENTNOISE film philosophy is to take challenging subject matters and develop them into film, television and documentary projects that are compelling, informative, entertaining and suspenseful.
SHEILA McKINNON – Founding Member/Producer/Writer of SILENTNOISE Productions. She brings an extensive background in film and television production. She has worked on projects for Spike Lee, Aaron Spelling and DreamWorks Studios. She also has extensive experience in Music Royalties at Universal Music Group. Her writing experience includes mentoring under Ken Rotcop along with her personal philosophy: “the best thing for a writer to do is write and write what you know.” Under the SILENTNOISE banner, she has written 4 award winning shorts and several feature length screenplays. She is currently in development on the feature film "Jr. Posse", co-written with producing partner/sister.
LARRY ERVIN - Founding Member/Chief Executive Officer. Larry brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in management. He has also utilized his experience and training as technical consultant on a variety of screenplays, set designer and construction on an award winning cable series in addition to earning credits as cinematographer and photographer on a variety of film projects. Larry holds a Master Degree and Bachelor Degree in Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and he is a Veteran of the United States Air Force.
MICHELE ERVIN – Founding Member/Producer/Writer/Director of SILENTNOISE Productions. Michele was bitten by the film bug after teaming with her sister Sheila. In 2008, Michele directed her first film which won an award for Excellence in Film Production. Since then she has written and directed several short films which have garnered a myriad of awards. Michele brings extensive management experience to the SILENTNOISE Executive Team. She earned a Master Degree in Public Administration and Bachelor Degree in Psychology at California State University at Dominguez Hills.
LAWRENCE ERVIN III - Art Director Lawrence is a designer and conceptual artist. His goal is to participate in the development, and expansion, of the collective creative and educational consciousnesses of the world. Applying a deep and connective understanding of several disciplines spanning art, digital media and communications, Lawrence engages and communicates with team members - ensuring the project comes into fruition gracefully, blooming into it's fullest and most cohesive potential.
PATRICK JACKSON – Chief Financial Officer has more then ten years experience in business and finance. His progressive business experience includes accounting and Royalties Accounting at Universal Music & Video Distribution for UMG’s Artists Royalties and Licensing catalog. He graduated with honors from California State University Northridge with a Bachelor Degree in Finance.
PHILLIP McKINNON - Director of Communications/Media. Phillip gained experience in the entertainment field while employed at Sony Studios and brings extensive knowledge in communications. Phillip earned a Master Degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University and Bachelor Degree in Sociology from California State Polytechnic University.
ANDREW SMITH - Treasurer. Andrew gained his experience as an accountant working at Ernst & Young Company and Grant Thornton LLC. He then went to work at the Walt Disney Company in accounting and also held the title of Staff Cooperate Controller and Staff Manager of Disneyland. Andrew now manages his own accounting firm. He holds an M.B.A. from California State University at Dominguez Hills and he is a (C.P.A.) Certified Public Accountant of California and holds a Bachelor Degree in Science and Accounting from California State University at Long Beach.
